Health Committee to Vote on Welfare Reform Bill and Legislation Impacting Diabetics

WHAT: House Health Committee Chairman Rep. Matt Baker (R-Bradford/Tioga) will hold a meeting to vote on House Bill 907 (Rep. Mike Reese), which prohibits the use of EBT and EPPI cards to purchase tobacco products, and House Bill 2242 (Rep. Tarah Toohil), which would exempt certain professionals from licensure requirements with respect to the fitting and patient management of off-the-shelf therapeutic diabetic shoes and inserts.
