Baker Announces $64,129 Planning Grant for North Central Sewage Agency
11/19/2009
State Rep. Matt Baker (Bradford/Tioga) today announced a Sewage Facilities Planning Grant for North Central Sewage Agency in Tioga County.

“This funding is essential in order to be able to properly plan for increased population and updates to the existing sewage infrastructure,” said Baker. “Pennsylvania’s sewage systems are continually needing to be expanded and improved to keep up with new construction, and this grant will go a long way in meeting that goal.”

The $64,129 grant will be used to reimburse 42.5 percent of the eligible expenses for performing certain sewage enforcement provisions mandated under state law.

The Sewage Facilities Planning Grants Program is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
